For the first time since starting doing youth worker I am now overseeing and driving what happens. Up till this year I have always been working under a senior youth worker. Now... it's my turn. I know have a lot of respect for my youth leaders... never did I realise how much work is involved. The things they need to think about. :-)I am currently juggling youth alpha course with the other week by week groups. I wonder how did I get into this. ... oh yeah God called me to do it.
My desk is a bit of a state at the moment... but I do know where everything is. But in the midst of caos the Holy Spirit is on the move. I am seeing the young people hungering after God and understanding scripture... they are asking some great questions at alpha... there honesty is great. I have to remind myself of the great stuff when the paperwork gets me down... and I wonder what will happen next!
